Cambodia and Quebec discuss closer support for private investment
Cambodian diplomatic representatives met Quebec investment and international-relations officials to explore cooperation and strengthen bilateral connections.
Cambodia and Quebec have discussed closer cooperation to promote private investment, with representatives from both sides reaffirming their interest in strengthening the relationship.
The meeting on 21 August 2026 brought Cambodian diplomatic representatives together with Investissement Quebec and Quebec's Ministry of International Relations and La Francophonie. The participants explored opportunities for cooperation and agreed to support one another in promoting private investment.
The exchange connected investment promotion with international relations, bringing commercial and institutional perspectives into the same discussion. Its focus was on developing cooperation between the two sides, rather than announcing a particular transaction.
