Coco Khmer builds a wellness business around Cambodian coconut products
Founded by Canadian entrepreneur Robert Esposito, the company has repositioned its operations around the Coco Khmer and Naga Balm brands.
Coco Khmer has developed from a community-based enterprise into a manufacturer of wellness products using Cambodian coconut raw materials, with Canadian Founder and CEO Robert Esposito leading the business.
Founded in 2013, the company grew to profitability by 2019 and developed plans for expansion into Singapore, Hong Kong and Canada. Pandemic disruption then prompted an operational reset and a change in its strategic direction.
The business now describes its model as a Global Wellness House operating through two brands. Naga Balm focuses on topical pain-relief products, while Coco Khmer covers daily personal-care essentials.
