Quebec parliamentarian joins Francophone dialogue in Siem Reap

Ambassador Christian DesRoches welcomed Marilyne Picard, a member of Quebec's National Assembly, during her visit to Cambodia for a Francophone parliamentary meeting in Siem Reap.
The Political Committee meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Francophonie brought together parliamentarians from five continents to discuss parliamentary cooperation. Picard's participation connected Quebec's representation with that wider international exchange.
The visit also supported preparations for the Francophonie Summit scheduled for November in Cambodia. It formed part of continuing efforts to strengthen dialogue and collaboration within the Francophone community ahead of the summit.
