University of Ottawa visit explores digital education cooperation with Cambodia
September meetings with three ministries considered institutional cooperation, digital teaching and skills in computer science and artificial intelligence.
Representatives of the University of Ottawa visited Cambodia in September 2026 for discussions on institutional cooperation, digital teaching and the development of skills in demand.
The delegation met with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport; the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation; and the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications. The exchanges considered how cooperation could support digital pedagogy and the development of relevant competencies.
Computer science and artificial intelligence were identified as areas for prospective joint work. The discussions connected education cooperation with the wider goals of technological progress and economic sustainability.
